The Green Turf is the foundation of the whole functional training space, and we believe what’s under your feet should be just as versatile as the workouts you perform. The turf is a stretch of artificial grass that provides the ideal traction for exercises like tire-tugging while offering minimal friction for exercises like sled-pushing.
Working out on artificial grass is better for shock absorption and energy–return which is much easier on your joints.
The turf is pre-marked to section the space into different workout zones and to show you where equipment goes once you’ve finished using it. This helps keep everything organized so you always know where to find what you need. Measured increments along the turf are also great for mapping out sprint exercises or for lining up your moving squat jumps.
